Mission Statement

Prism Medical's mission is to save the health care system money and improve the quality of life of the mobility challenged and their caregivers by providing superior services and products that most effectively solve the problems related to moving and handling mobility-disadvantaged people.

Products and Services

Prism Medical is one of the oldest ceiling lift manufacturers in the industry. It has been at the forefront of introducing ceiling lifts to the North American and UK markets and has established a reputation for quality. Ceiling lifts are used in each segment of the health care market from home care to acute care to facilitate moving patients from one area to another. Management believes ceiling lifts are a superior technology to other types of products used to move and handle people and that their use is considered "best practice" in most jurisdictions. Ceiling lifts perform functions with less risk of injury to the end user and caregiver and thereby reduce costs to the health care system. The Company also offers a full line of repositioning aids and floor lifts. The Company's floor lifts are used in each segment of the health care market and can be shared across various rooms in a facility. Repositioning aids reduce injury, maintain patient dignity and represent a low entry investment for patient movement care.

Repositioning aids, along with slings, used with various lifting mechanisms, are more consumable in nature than the ceiling lifts themselves and require periodic replacement. The Company also provides a wide array of related services including assessment, design, installation, training and ongoing preventive maintenance of facilities for the mobility challenged in both institutional and home care environments. Services are provided directly by company owned operations and by high quality service oriented independent dealers.
